Welcome to the 2010 edition of the KGH Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon. We are busy preparing for another great event this year and are very proud to announce that the provincial duathlon championships will be held right here in Sylvan Lake. Come out and find out why the KGH Sprint is quickly becoming one of the most popular events in the Alberta Triathlon Calendar. Tykes Race We will be again featuring a Tykes Race for 2010. Registration is free for kids 4-12 and all will receive a finisher's medal and are entitled the post race food. For 2010 kids will also receive a race number for their bikes. This number is intended as a race souvenir and will not be used for timing or determining final placing. The Tykes Race is intended as a participation event only and finishing order will not be tracked. The Tykes race will begin 15 minutes following the final adult finisher. This time will depend on the number of entrants to some degree (To get a rough estimate of completion time multiply the final number of participants by 1.25. Please keep in mind that this is only a very rough estimate and it is always best to arrive around noon or earlier) All tykes are required to submit a race entry to aid in medal and food order calculations. Please download the adult entry form and submit it indicating that it will be a tykes entry. No ATA dues apply to the tykes race.
